What this is

A first pass at the structure of the new website: which pages it will have, what each page is for, how long each should be, and how each page is laid out. Nothing here is fixed. Please review it and tell us what to change.

How the pages and the layouts relate

32 pages are served by 16 page layouts. The seven service pages share one layout, and so do the ten city pages, because they do the same job with different content. Drawing the same diagram seventeen times would add pages to this document without adding information, so each shared layout is drawn once and the pages that use it are listed beneath its title. Every page in the list is covered by a wireframe.

If you want a change to one page's layout

Say which page and which section. If it is a page that shares a layout, the change applies to every page using it, unless you tell us otherwise. That is the point at which reordering is cheap.

If you want a page added or removed

Say so by name or by URL. Lengths and internal links are set for the pages around it, so doing this now costs a conversation rather than a rewrite.

Notation

Each wireframe shows the sections of a page in the order they appear, top to bottom. The gray shapes are placeholders: bars are headings, thin lines are body text, dark rectangles are buttons, crossed boxes are images.

Heading

A gray bar. Width suggests the length of the heading, not its wording.

Body text

Thin lines. Each line is a sentence or part of one.

Primary button

A dark block. One per section at most.

Secondary button

An outlined block. The quieter of a pair.

Image

A crossed box. The diagonal marks it as a photograph, not a panel.

Trust badge row

A row of small blocks: licenses, insurance, rating, years.
